  1. The Rgem has been weak sauce for tomorrow and Tuesday's events....at least for CNY. Eastern NY looks better positioned.
  2. That 18Z Nam looks awesome for Tuesday. Wish it was for tomorrow and not Tuesday! haha
  3. Coming down good on Elmwood Buffalo, NY | Elmwood Ave | Mr. Pizza | BuffaloWebcam.com | Live Webcams from Buffalo, New York USA
  4. So Tuesday looks like it might be the typical fizzle over the Finger Lakes and then we hope it picks up some additional moisture before it moves too far east for CNY. Looks like it will be a little more juiced than some prior waves we've had from the same track this season.
  5. The high in Syracuse was only supposed to be in the mid 20s today...most local stations reporting lower 30s....always overperforming.
  6. Mid-week this upcoming week is looking promising for Central NY. Let's see if it actually holds.
  7. Looks like you just answered my question...lol Train of clippers? I must have missed it...because I don't remember anything impressive? Even the system this week was a mess. This upcoming week had looked like it might produce...but not so sure now? Models have had such rapid changes from run to run.
  8. You're more experienced with the local climo...what pattern is best for us? I seriously sit here and wonder what it takes for Syracuse to reach its average. I thought Lows passing to the SE would still provide us with NW flow and some snows. Just seems like no pattern works out for us...so, what is best?
  9. Would you look at that...Watertown's getting hit. Their average is certainly going to be going up with all the events they've had the past several winters. Thompson Park and Memorial Monument Live HD Webcam, NY (webcamtaxi.com)
  10. Congrats to all those in WNY who cashed in. Checking out one of my favorite webcams, it indeed looks like ROC city is getting some nice snowfall. Sunny morning here.
  11. I wish we could get some storms where it runs NNW from that spot on Hatteras...Whatever happened to those? I will hope that the WNW lake band the Nam 3k is showing works out. Looks like the Hrrr is "trying"...
  12. Boo. Well, Freak seems to have the best chance in these parts.
  13. Hello and welcome! I think you'd have much better discussion about that area in the NYC forum. You are most welcome to stay, of course ..but we pretty much never talk about the Hudson Valley area. You could also possibly try the New England sub, as that area isn't too far from CT. P.S Lancaster county native here...I grew up in West Willow (Willow Street)Conestoga area.)
  14. Then it takes the low at the end of the week and retrogrades it through the Great Lakes...lol...would be such a mess here...good thing it will change a billion times.
  15. I have trouble believing we will have even that much with the low being so far east. Perhaps we'll get some northwest wind snow showers. The GFS looks better than any of the mesos/Nams for general snowfall through Tuesday though
  16. Haha....I had looked at it as an option. I know you like chasing there, so you have a special connection. They've been doing really well these past couple winters.
  17. How much would you say most of the Susquehanna Valley has left? I'll probably be joining you guys the week of Feb. 15th as I hopefully (tentative of course) get to visit the family in Danville.
