    Seems to be a general consensus now with NAM, Rgem, and GFS at 18Z that north and west of a line from Binghamton to Albany will have a good snowstorm.

    Not often the Northern Niagara region gets the maximum amount. They've been having a pretty good snow month over there.

    I remember from my years of growing up in PA that not many places in this country, perhaps the world, do ice the way the Poconos does. That region gets some pretty crazy ice storms.

    I have mentioned several times over the past couple days how I'm excited to be tracking an exciting wintry week. I honestly wasn't trying to be negative in this last comment. I was being cautious because I've seen this song and dance so many times. I understand how that can come across that way though.

    When I lived in Muskoka, I got scolded for telling a class of students to "sit on their butts." Apparently it's only PC in Canada to say "bums" to students? lol

    Nope. They only average like 50 or 60 inches... I have a friend that lives there. The southern third of the UP barely gets any lake effect snow.
