The Nam 3k looks like it's trying to set up a nice WNW band of lake effect snow at the end of its run (60 hours.) I would love to experience my first lake enhanced/effect WNW band on the back of a synoptic system here. Those seem to be the situations where the Cuse cashes in.
Dude. I am NOT pushing any agenda. Seriously, you need to relax now. EVERY single model has been shifting north and west today, with the exception of the Ukie. That's not an agenda.
Ha! I, of course, am a "try to make the piles look as big as possible on both sides of the driveway" person. Like any "normal" person in everyday society really cares about that lol
lol...and I LOVE looking at peoples' driveway because I enjoy looking at the snow depths and clean-looking snow piles...it's interesting to see peoples' personalities in how they clean up snow. You've got the:
1) Perfectionists - clean cut, meticulous straight cuts through the snow. Pavement always showing
2) Quick shovelers - piles strewn all about the sides of the driveways collapsing into the driveway in places
3) The "Ain't nobody got time for that"ers - driveway covered with inches of snow with 100 tire tracks in and out and a car stuck halfway up the drive
4) The bitters - Their driveway is clean until about 3 feet from the end where they just bulldoze over the pile the plow left and they're too pissed to clean it up because the plow came AFTER they were done.
It's a whole study in Psychology.
I had a neighbor stop me during one of my Jebwalks around midnight about a month ago. Told me their "doorbell cameras" picked up on somebody "walking the neighborhood." I assured him I was just going for a walk and that I had no malicious intent. Now I am nervous about enjoying my peaceful nighttime Jebwalks because some paranoid neighbor takes me out or the cops are called on me. Times have changed.
As @rochesterdave said,, this winter is a'trollin. lol
Heaviest banding does the splits over my area on several of the models, and now that ice line is working ever so closer.
STOP trending NW with every run. Gah.
I can't believe a low that far south and east is creating this sort of questioning as to whether we mix or not in these parts. Should be a clean hit, but who knows.
