    I'm not surprised...mostly because of how things have changed in the last 24 hours before events this year. Plus, it's the end of April, so they're probably being cautiously realistic. I imagine things will start being hoisted tonight.

    It seems pretty typical for the NAM to be one of the farthest NW models. Seems like models are adjusting closer to the consistent Ukie. Which would be wonderful!

    I went for a couple walks today and enjoyed the fresh air. I am still boggled by Syracuse's ability to outwarm and overwarm compared to the rest of New York state. As a cold weenie, I don't want my community to be the warmest day in and day out. Hence, looking for a mountain top.

    Sizzlercuse doing it's thing. 4 to 5 degrees above the projected high and 5 to 10 degrees warmer than most of the rest of the state. I'm telling you... it's like the tropics of NY here. My next move is to a mountain top.

    Perhaps we can go a few tics more east and quicker. It will then somehow be weaker...but perhaps give us a snowy period.

    Look at that! They still find some way to put Central NY in a snowfall minimum. Lol... Downsloping...or mild air...or a dry slot.... same ol thing.

    Wow....will the Eastern trend finally work out for us at the end of April?!? ...and it looks like that -EPO might finally happen... another month of winter left? lol

    LOL...Warm air plows in here from any direction. If only the Tug extended the whole way down here....

    Yeah, winds turned Northerly and NW around here, and the temp has dropped almost 15 degrees from the highs we had earlier. Now in the mid 50s, while it is warmer up on the Tug.

    It is beautiful outside...I just have this hatred for "living in the warmest area" kind of thing. Can't explain it...other than my love for cold. Haha

    Syracuse is so ridiculous. Yet again, several degrees warmer than forecasted AND 5 to 10 degrees warmer than most of the rest of the state. If you're a warmanista who enjoys snow (well, that's debatable with the lack of it lately) then Syracuse would fit you well.

    I was thinking the same exact thing! We might as well live along the ocean with as often as the marine layer from Lake Ontario has screwed us! Man, what a craptastic synoptic season!

    6 months of Synoptic snow in the SAME area this season!

    Yeah, especially after all these days in the 70s and (2 in the low 80s in Sizzlercuse)...Per usual, 4 to 5 degrees above what was forecasted for today. Although today is because we aren't getting the rain that was expected. Looks like mid to upper 70s in the Watertown area! Typical Spring-like temps are going to feel cool after these warm days...that's a PLUS for me! lol

    Even with that, it looks the biggest departures once again miss us. Seems like colder air has been funneling more south than east the past couple years.
