  1. The snow started several hours earlier than it was supposed to in the Midwest, so I am hoping that translates to snow here before sunrise hits.
  2. Snowing nicely at the Indy Zoo. Scroll down to the "tiger cam" Webcams - Indianapolis Zoo
  3. While the models are looking better and better for CNY, the NWS offices aren't budging.
  4. Yep. Right down to the river! EarthCam - St. Louis Cam
  5. I am going to have to question that reading. Most sites, on Wunderground, are right around 45 degrees here right now.
  6. Why isn't the Lake Erie plain of NY affected as much by milder marine influences as the Lake Ontario Plain? Is it because the Ontario Plain is broader and covers a larger area?
  7. That seems to happen a lot. Is it just a strange coincidence of the past 2 winters? Data would suggest otherwise though.
  8. Yep, it's my powers combined with the tropical effect of the Sizzlecuse.
  9. Not here in Sizzlercuse. Many of the trees have small leaves on them.
  10. Well after last year's couple inches of lake effect in Mid MAY.......
  11. Yay! The 24 hour shift may actually work out for us... Lol
  12. Exactly. This is looking like just another troll event for Syracuse. I fully expect a couple of slushy dustings to add to the other 4940-23439320 ones I've had this season.
  13. Yeah, it's ever-so-slightly south in Western and Central NY.
  14. As long as it's not a heavy covering, a layer of snow might be helpful to have on the trees to insulate them from below freezing temps.
  15. It's so interesting to me that for the last system that hit New England, BGM wanted nothing to do with the models that were showing more of a Northwestern track, giving us some possible snow here. They were obviously correct. Now, they're going with the farthest NW models for this...still wanting nothing to do with much snow. They'll probably be correct. It's like they know how it doesn't snow here anymore...lol. West or east. Unfortunately, this is looking like the western track that all the systems took this year IF they didn't take the eastern track up through SE NY and southern New England. I would love the globals to be correct. But, who knows...they might show something similar to this with the 00Z runs.
  16. Meet the Mesos....waaaaay too much of a northern movement of the Low. Meh.
  17. Looking good,. Western NY! Need this to be weaker and thus have more of a West to East movement for here. The stronger Low with the more due-north movement is no good.
  18. BGM is for sure going with the far north tracks as well...which can be seen looking at the forecast. They don't even have snow in the forecast at all for the Cuse tomorrow night. "Rain and snow showers" for Wednesday.
  19. It's so bloody frustrating. I think Climate Change has affected Syracuse 10x anywhere else....
  20. Of course the NAMs and looks like the mesos are being stubborn with this being north. Where's our easterly shift? Just don't want to cool off the Sizzlercuse. Looking excellent for you Buffalo guys.
  21. Meh. No more stronger or it'll be north and for sure screw over the 'Cuse. We need a weaker, "meh" system to get some less impressive snows here, it seems.
  22. If it happens, make sure you measure using the Rochester method so you can reach 80. Also, this crap winter is over. The snow should affect your grade for this Spring...not winter. Which means your grade for Spring will go down, down, doooooown....
