    I'm currently sitting by it with ice cubes and a portable A/C. It's taking all my might to fight the sizzle sizzle...but maybe I can get it to below normal?

    YES!!! I have mentioned this numerous times! Their sensor is always colder, while the surrounding local obs are 5 to 7 degrees warmer.

    Wow, Oneida county is yet again under the gun with some heavy storms leading to Flash Flood Warnings. They have had quite the severe summer! Looks like some activity forming over the lake and maybe making it down to the Eastern Finger Lakes later?

    Oh, yeah, I remember that with Buffalo last year! LOL at ROC.... "the thing we do not speak of" anymore.... Syracuse suspiciously just went from 88 degrees to 83 degrees. Perhaps they checked something? BGM told me they were investigating...so maybe it was corrected?

    Ok, so I am beginning to think Syracuse airport is really working on maximizing climate change effects... Lol. Their thermometer is registering at 85 degrees currently, while most temps in Onondaga county are showing upper 70s. Considering contacting officials on this...

    Wow, quite the difference in temperatures from West to Southeast across the state! You can clearly tell where the front sits. Lower 60s over by Niagara Falls to Low-Mid 90s in Non-Upstate NY... It's been in the 60s all day here in Northwestern Onondaga while silly Syracuse sat in the mid 70s...

    Yep, I am really thinking there is something off with Syracuse's thermometer... registering at 84?!? Um, no. It's currently 75 in Bville and similar to that around the airport.

    Yep! I think it was the hottest in the state, and once again hotter than many places in the deep south. Ridiculous.

    Baldwinsville was hit pretty hard last night. Branches and downed trees lined the streets today and downtown was flooded last night

    I have friends visiting starting tomorrow and we were going to try and go to Niagara Falls Friday pm/evening. This summer, I don't think there's any day to wait for a "dry day." Just have to expect raindrops and wok around it to get anything done.

    Thanks for the response. Even to its southeast where there hasn't been rain, it's 4 to 5 degrees "cooler."

    Sizzle Sizzlercuse. Forecasted high of 82...up to 84 with several warming hours to go. Should hit the normal 5 above forecast soon. Perhaps their sensor is wrong, as most wunderground sites around it are upper 70s to lower 80s. I wonder where it is located at their airport. Mid 70s here temporarily as we just had rain.

    Wouldn't surprise me...many people across PA and NY reported dewpoints in the 76-79 degree range
