    Lies. All of Lancaster county (with the exception of the northern and southern tips) are one giant suburb. But, still, you have more Amish gangstas on your side, so my bet's on you...

    Cuse is at 90 now, and as far as I can see, the first city in the state (shocker) to hit it today.

    Yeah, it sure has. It's been a fairly consistent run of warm Falls, a tease of winter, mild winter "thaws" (can't thaw if it hasn't been cold...lol), a chilly Spring, and then a furnace that lasts into September and "cools" to a mild October.

    So, right when a trough starts to dig, a tropical system in the gulf will pop a ridge and bring back the hot soupy weather. Grrrrrrrreat. LOL

    Oh, I am aware of that sizzle. I think we'll be in the 20s as far as amount of days 90 or above this summer by the time Fall comes.

    Yes. It's like the 10 degrees above is the new point of reference. We get occasional dips, and then it jumps right back up.

    Yeah, these huge ridges are blasting in the heat. Tropical systems, like the ones we have been having, often seem to mess up the long-term prospects of cool downs.

    Yeah, the lows have been so high. Maybe I have a false memory of it...but I felt like stuffy, muggy nights were something I experienced on our vacations down south when I was a kid. Seems like the summers aren't much different up here than they are in the south. Just a blip...or a "new normal?"

    Can I trust a source that uses "flaky" to describe the weather? I see our cool down for the end of the week is disappearing. "Sniff sniff" August is definitely going down as "hotter than average" this year. Lots and lots of 80s.

    In that case...make it an option OR weekly testing. "I HAVE the freedom to do this but YOU do NOT have the freedom to do that." Can't believe the hypocrisy in this country... If it comes down to actual concerns about the health and well-being of those around us, and each person having the right to decide what goes in the body, perhaps we should just go back to school virtually where everyone can be in their safe bubble.

    Misuse of power. I hope he is ready for the fallout of teachers leaving the job. The vaccines haven't even been approved yet! I realize Pfizer should be by then. This extremist progressively liberal government is destroying our nation's foundations in less than a year. Awful.

    Make that Sizzlercuse with a current temp of 89 and dewpoint of 73....lol...florida of New York. I guess we'll hit day 17 of 90s today...

    Yep...routinely hotter here than many places to the south in other states...it's absolutely absurd...regardless low elevation and city size. I saw upper 80s for Wednesday this upcoming week, and automatically knew that meant we'd be in the 90s for the 17th day this summer. lol

    Full sunshine in Syracuse with the temperature already above forecasted high...currently 85 degrees...hottest in the state.

    With this Atlantic Ridge and the tropical push, I continue to see high temps for next week rising and rising with each forecast. Argh. I HATE this new climate... AUTUMN, please!

    Yeah, we don't need anymore here in Onondaga county. 5 to 7 inches of rain this week was enough. There was flooding all over the place yesterday.

    It looks to be trying to bend to the NW towards us. Hopefully it gets blocked before much more movement. We don't need anymore rain...at least not all at once.

    Welcome! Yeah, it's very sad to see all the unhealthy trees this year. I am excited for you to experience some real winter weather. While the winters lately have left much to be desired in these parts, it will be 100 times better (literally) than Tennessee!
