lol..Syracuse rushes up from behind and warms up to be the warmest in NY today...yet again. Everybody else's temps hold steady, but this place just warms and warms... can't wait til the day I move to a mountain top.

Sitting at 65 degrees here in the NW burbs of the Cuse. and it feels gloriously refreshing. I see over by the heat island of the airport they're pushing 70.

Several people who I work with got the vaccine and have now had to quarantine the past couple weeks because of contracting Covid....and getting sick. I think we're past "breakout cases." So, I'm going to assume it's waning of their vaccines combined with the Delta variant. Doesn't bring much encouragement. It's been well over 6 months, which they seem to think is the period it starts to lose its effectiveness. Doesn't seem like a very long protection period...

....and 4 to 5 degrees warmer than forecasted for today... ...and hottest in the state again...(tied with Dansville)...

It's so ridiculous. Warmer here than D.C...... even if they have cloudcover down there, it's STILL ridiculous. I can't believe how many times it's hotter in Sizzlecuze than places hundreds of miles south.

Wow, just checked your conditions for the past several days. 80 for highs and not getting below the mid 60s for lows. Summer in Fall....Bleck

I bet it would also be telling to break those up by age group as well. Florida with its elderly population...PA shocked me that it's so high, but there is a large elderly population there as well.

I do see your point. However, I think we'll have to agree to disagree. I guess I don't think there is a need to limit it to only 2 choices. That's the part where I feel it's being forced. It's like the Matrix: You can only choose 1 of the 2 options.... and there are more than just 2 options here...or there could be more. I for sure agree with you on which choice I would make as well.

I see your point. I'd prefer to have some low 60s and 40s right now though. After all the warmth of the summer, I like a coolness in the air. The rapid warming we are going through makes me sick. I would love for us to flip a solid switch into consistent winter. I'm thinking this winter might have a better chance of that than the past few. The Pacific has been dominating as of late though.

After next week's furnace (cringe) it will be double digits...

So maddening. Stop the punishing of people... If patient is willing to RISK that increased chance, so be it. That's NOT the hospital's decision to make. The politics disgusts me.
