  1. Yeah, Lowville definitely doesn't get near 200 inches. Way too much downsloping. It averages about the same as here in the North Syracuse burbs. 130ish inches.
  2. My guess is he's not used to seeing such high average snowfalls (coming from SE Pennsylvania)?
  3. If so, it's absolutely ridiculous and absurd to expect us to mask and quarantine and vaccinate, etc. over and over and over again. Americans are fed up...especially after being fed a whole bunch of lies about "not having to do any of these things if you're vaccinated..."
  4. Wow, definitely a more inland event. Jamestown, Almond, and Wellsville aren't the normal winners.
  5. A nice, rare, WNW flow band and it's just too mild. Mix of rain, graupel, and wet snow.
  6. Yes, I see that. Looks a little more cellular, with breaks between, so might be more hit or miss. It was fun watching the gigantic flakes falling at 6:30 this morning. Even covered the roads for a bit.
  7. At my place 140 feet higher than the village of Bville, there was more snow than here in the village. Elevation ftw!
  8. Got a coating here. Naturally, the band sat south all last night and then flew through here just to settle and sit just north. Lol At least there is a little white.
  9. First dusting of the season! 49238292 more to go to reach our seasonal average...
  10. I can already see how this lake effect band is setting up too far west. It'll train over southern Onondaga county.
  11. The Rgem, one of the better lake effect models, is showing 3 to 6 inches across Onondaga county as well. Hoping for some white ground tomorrow morning.
  12. Oh, I definitely am not expecting that much. That would definitely lead to huge disappointment. I have remember to keep expectations exceptionally low.
  13. Ha. Yeah, the cutoff is literally in my backyard. It's so maddening....but I'm just in the band on most models.
  14. 12Z runs are looking very interesting for tonight into tomorrow. WNW-NWly band cutting across Onondaga county. As usual, the drop-off is super sharp. Some runs are showing 6 to 10 inches for sections of the county. In general, my area is looking in the 3 to 6 inch range. If the models' bias of showing bands a little too far south ends up happening, then I could be golden.
  15. Same...but I wasn't including the graupel showers from last week. Wet snow/slush flakes continue
  16. First snowflakes here as well. Veeeery wet snow...but it's frozen...kind of. Lol
  17. I am hoping this band dropping southward from Lake Ontario brings the first real flakes of the season here. 36 degrees here, so should see some white.

  19. Looks like close to the lake is getting slushy roads now with visibility lowering. Hard to see with the wet lense. Buffalo, NY | Elmwood Ave | Mr. Pizza | BuffaloWebcam.com | Live Webcams from Buffalo, New York USA
  20. Most of the models are showing a decent mini-WNW lake effect event tomorrow night into Tuesday morning. Perhaps the Sizzle can get an inch or two barring it's not too mild or the flow isn't too NWly or Wly...
  21. Maybe I'll get to see the first real flakes tomorrow night....maybe?
