Ehhh. Little east for us. Let's hope for it trends a little West. I'd rather a mixed frozen bag and more QPF then a couple dusty inches.

To me it seems like a winter of yore coming up where it snows where it's supposed to snow (C/NNE) with a combo of rainers and some mix bags in sne. Typically that's what winter is in this our area.

I've lost power 3 times during this event. Sick! Makes it so quiet and peaceful with the woodstove crackling snuggled up with a table talk pie and whole milk at night.

Lost power at 5 AM and white pines losing branches like crazy. Down here in FIT though not much ice at all and temps above freezing.

Sleet now here, some ZR over night but nothing crazy. Ice storm warning totally uncalled for by BOX. Weird how WMA was ice last night but I was rain and I'm closer to the cold source.

We're above climo, but that 30 inch storm on Dec 2 doesn't really count.....it's like a fluke. You know in statistics how you remove the highest and lowest value? That's basically what you do for snow. You could get 40" in one storm on Christmas but the rest of the winter could torch....IMO that's a poopy winter. A winter's grade isn't all about snowfall, it's about consistency as well- both in frozen precip and cold temperature. K?

Let's get it a little warmer so we have sig ice. Only issue with this event is it's gonna be piss warm leading into the event, so the ground and trees will be warm limiting accretion.
