  1. From the wife. Lakeshore East. Edit: From the ground to the branches on those trees is about 3 feet. I'd estimate well over 20" on the ground based on this picture.
  2. Very pro MDW beating out ORD. Let the little guy have a win
  3. Very N/S orientation of the LE band. Benefitted areas near the lake like Uptown and Lakeview up north and areas just inland towards southern Cook like MDW. Actually not hearing much from downtown, but the wife is a questionable source...
  4. Can't believe i'm missing this haha. Oh well
  5. Looks like that band shifting back south slowly
  6. Good luck to you guys. We’ve got a measeley 3-6” on the way here. Hitting the slopes tomorrow
  7. Anyone see natural gas prices? OK next day traded $450/mmbtu

  9. That’s what I mean. Immediate lake influence does make a difference, at least in my experience living in Chicago
  10. Your climo is better in November and December and worse in Jan and Feb, that’s how it goes
  11. I think the warning text is appropriate and will sufficiently notify the public of what’s coming. When I get back to Chicago we’ll likely be near if not exceeding a 40” depth. Wild

  14. I feel compelled to post the weeniebell kuchera if nothing else to archive
  15. Sorry for the ignorance, but at what point would a lake effect snow warning be more appropriate than a WSW?
  16. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some 14” reports but that’ll be the exception more than the rule, hence the 6-12” call
