    We have two smaller Subarus right now and I often miss having a bigger vehicle. I had a Dodge Caravan that I liked because you could take the bench seats out for bigger loads. We will probably get an SUV again in a year or so.

    Yeah, it’s a pretty good deal but unfortunately the Greenfield Home Depot only has two trucks and it’s first come first serve with no reservations.

    I’m not getting involved in the climate argument, I’m just here to say that media is first and foremost an entertainment business that relies on ratings including the news outlets.

    Hopefully February brings the goods in terms of snow. It is a classic old-school New England mountain and when it is wide open it is super fun! Wachuesett has more trails (and is fantastic) but B’East has more vertical and glades if we can actually get them open.

    B’East folks did a damn fine job making that mountain enjoyable today! Once again, a little rain in the forecast kept folks away but conditions were great through the afternoon.

    They must’ve blown snow on lower lift line all week because it was in great shape.

    Nice morning at Berkshire East no lines and the snow was real nice packed powder and soft machine groomed.

    Yes and some folks couldn't care less about the quality of wood they burn in them or if its green.

    We only seem to have them here in the summer but maybe less wood stoves here too?

    It’s almost comical that we have an air quality alert in southern New Hampshire and a chance of convection this weekend. Seasons in Seasons

    It’s funny how perceptions are because I did not look at the thermometer this morning before I went out with the dog and I was thinking to myself it was 10 or 15° out. This cold stretch is good though because the pond ice was not trustable.

    Got down to 1° this morning. Will this be the year without a zero?

    January 26-27 2005 there were whole streets like that in Cambridge. 30"+ just west of Boston.

    Snowmaking crews and groomers did a nice job pulling Berkshire East into shape this week.

    Got down to 10F this morning. I wonder if I go the entire winter without getting to or below zero?

    Your monthly departure must be insane by now.

    I’m slightly over now. 31” and I average in the upper 50’s.
