    Overnight lows look pretty cold by the end of the week. It would be nice to get another shower or two if we’re gonna be running up heating bills and burning through wood.

    Just got back after being gone for five days in Greenfield is still a glacier. Hopefully we can melt some of this down a little bit this week. It’s been a while since I’ve seen my driveway.

    Believe me, we love our humble little house, but I tell my family from time to time, how happy I would be up in MPM’s old hood in Shelburne.

    I-91 from Northampton was brutal. Snow covered, wind whipped squalls. 40mph max speed.

    It’s been an interesting winter season. I am somehow ahead of Hubba Dave by an inch or two which is rare.

    Best storm of the 24-25 season so far in the W RT2 corridor.

    It’s relatively tame MBY (I mean, it’s gusty, and the pines are rattling) but it sounds like an absolute freight train 1000 feet above my head. Absolute thunderous roars that we can hear in the living room with the TV on.

    Tonight was the rare fruition of “fraud five” back end accumulating snows.

    Walked the doggo after we got home and the cold, wind swept snow piles were reminiscent of 2015 but obviously on a smaller scale. Deep and wintery.

    Yeah, after dinner, we had to stroll around downtown Northampton to find the open bar. Packards ftw!

    A lot of my yard has over a foot of snow right now. Our picnic table has about 16” on it.

    With regards to impact and duration, this will qualify as the biggest winter storm of the year for this area.

    What a night! just got back to Greenfield from Northampton. I-91 was snow covered and slow with snow and ground blizzards. Close to 1.5” new in the driveway. I’ll need to update the snow table by at least 2 inches from my morning report. Quite a stormy 24 hours. Wind is absolutely howling up high with occasional white out blowing snow.
