15 inches in Greenfield but much more in the hills west of here.
Power was out here for a day or so but south of here 4 days. Greenfield was swamped with people coming up from the south to get gas and groceries etc.
I don’t wanna see any property damage or injuries but it will be interesting to see if we pop any brushfires in New England. Very rare phenomenon in these parts.
This is peak foliage weekend. Colors in the valley right now are on fire!
I can’t believe we actually get a 70° dry clear weekend to enjoy it. We often get that October leaf grinch screaming Sou’Easter right at the heart of peak foliage.
Yeah, that’s pretty sick for this time of year.
I don’t have to encourage you to get up there and explore in the morning because I know you will. Enjoy, it’s all a memory in a few days.
Colors are kicking out here the past four or five days, the next week will be peak. The leaf peepers are going to be swarming this weekend with nice weather. Good for local businesses bad for driving.
