  1. It’s been a scintillating few months following day seven hallucination showers.
  2. Yeah, every time there’s rain beyond day five on the models it just disappears a day or two later.
  3. Most of SNE maybe goin' dry rub with the T-Day Turkeys. I don't see any significant precipitation for a bit...
  4. GFS tries to bring a coastal low right into CT day 9 or 10 for whatever that’s worth.
  5. You left out after February doesn’t work out, time to think about the “countdown to May 1st” thread. Then you can make a similar chart for severe weather in SNE.
  6. Wow, only .10” here. Still, should be enough to kill the fire threat. Doesn’t help the streams and rivers much.
  7. Today is the 49th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior. A year later Gordon Lightfoot wrote a great tribute and one of the great weather related songs. I was obsessed with this song as a kid.
  8. Dead Man's Waltz. They don't play together too often because all the members have other music gigs but they definitely do a show or two in CT every year and are fire.
  9. Same, can't believe we are already into November. My 13yo boy is 5'8, I'm still playing with beer at the brewery and looking forward to a snowy December! I'm bar tending a theater show tonight featuring a skilled band that tributes The Band, The Allmans and the Grateful Dead, so should be some kind folks in attendance.
  10. There you are. It's been a while. How were the fall harvests etc...?
  11. I mean, maybe grumpy but he's not wrong. Nantucket sound still in the 50's.
  12. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve tried to quit caffeine.
  13. That sucks. I assume you stretch regularly? I’m on the living room floor at least three or four nights a week doing basic low back stretches. I’ve gone through several low back episodes in the past few years and I really never want to experience it again. Lumbar, piriformis, glute, quad and hamstring stretches are essential,
  14. Right, there has been a lot of rain in SNE the past two years.
  15. Ya’ GFS paltry. Enough to quell fire danger but it won’t do anything for rivers and reservoirs.
  16. Walking the dog in the woods behind my house was like walking on parchment paper. Ticks are out and rampaging in big numbers.
  17. I love shoveling CMC fantasy snow. It’s so effortless.
  18. Still 62° here under partly cloudy skies which is kind of insane for November 6th.
  19. Nice! I would have jumped in the Green River today but there’s no water in it.
