  1. Yeah, we’ve had the ingredients laid out on the table, but the recipe has not come together yet. We both know there’s a big event in the pipeline over the next few weeks in SNE.
  2. It could still end up congrats you to CT.
  3. Robins are fairly common in New England in the winter. They could be part of a large group who stayed over or ones from further north that migrated south to here.
  4. I think any heat is brief for us and is mostly for the mid-Atlantic.
  5. Doubt it whiffs. Certainly could rain or suppress enough to mainly affect only SNE/CNE. Hoping for snow up in the Conway area since I’m heading up there.
  6. Snow to sleet to light freezing drizzle most likely. I mean, there certainly could be a narrow band of heavier icing, but seems like classic SWFE.
  7. Low 5° here. We fake we radiate. at least we will finally have had a below normal month.
  8. I mean, I’d be happy to loan you some some tip-ups? That way you can at least be doing something else while nothing is biting.
  9. Man, there’s still sleet on the ground everywhere in Hilton Head. Four or five days of no golf the courses must be furious! Lol My brother just took this picture a few minutes ago from down there.
  10. You’ll likely see some changes on the next drought monitor report. Most of SNE will probably move into moderate.
  11. Clipper looks good for 1-3” here. GFS op is pretty meh’ for most of NE outside of N VT.
  12. Fisherman are reporting 8 - 10” of mostly black ice on some of the local ponds. I’ve seen snowmobiles and ATVs out on the ponds and river oxbows.
  13. We’ve had a couple of bursts of flurries today. Greenfield has had flakes in the air more days than not in January. It just hasn’t amounted to anything but mood flakes.
  14. I think downtown Brattleboro was maybe 10 or so inches in that one.
  15. I had 5 inches in that one. The differentials with elevation were absolutely insane. You could go from 30 inches to 15 inches in a half mile up in places like Colrain and Heath. The difference was basically going from anything over 800’ elevation to anything under 600’ elevation. Wild stuff.
  16. Ticking down towards a dry mild spring hopefully.
  17. Might even pull off back to back rainers!
  18. My brother said a lot of the secondary roads in Hilton Head are still covered in sleet.
  19. parts of Florida were colder than Anchorage Alaska this morning.
  20. First half of February will be snowy for parts of SNE.
  21. Snowfall off by about 6-8" but yes. so far winter being winter.
  22. I think we get a SWFE and maybe a surprise clipper, but cold and dry does not lie.
  23. Intermittent brief warm ups but it's going to be BN through April Fools.
  24. The CPC is going to bust too high on late winter / early spring temps.
