    It did to a degree. It was chiefly modeled as a deep MA storm, then gradually shifted up to jack NYC area in the final day or so. Boston ended up with 6-8" when we were looking at cirrus for most of the lead up model runs.

    It did this with Feb '13 as you may recall. Even at go-time it was sliding it out to sea. I never really trust the GFS for EC cyclogenesis.

    Agreed. This pic is like two weeks after that just up the street from CBC. 30"+ in the blizzard, another 2 feet + in that ridiculous long lasting system, Valentine's Day ML massacre, some other smaller events sprinkled in. Special.
