  1. Did I hear I have to worry about rain all of a sudden? Wouldn't that be fitting this winter.
  2. Serenity now, insanity later.
  3. It'll find a way to bust in Richmond. Remember his melt in the 2016 blizzard when the NAM turned out to be right and he went to sleet? There's still a radioactive exclusion zone down there.
  4. Let's yearn for a return of the days when Teton Gravity Research came to Boston.
  5. 224 pages of jack sh*t lol.
  6. I'll take P11 and P20 for $1,000, Alex.
  7. I'm going to pray for a Jan '16 or March '17 type outcome with modeling latching on to massive latent heat release and a more amped outcome at the last minute. Don't expect the prayers to be answered however.
  8. Yep, with you there. That deal on the 29th especially leaps out as one of those systems that tantalizes for a few runs and then ends up with the deform kissing the south coast of Long Island. Not buying in to this.
  9. This is one of those rare occasions when I'm in one of the most favorable spots in NE and almost would be better served checking into the NYC sub forum. Still think the primary will get a bit further north in Ohio and get solid advisory snows up to NH border.
  10. I would gladly take an advisory event at this point.
  11. For once, I like where I am for this. Of course, it'll probably whiff now and and dump on Long Island just to cosmically spite me.
  12. I can work with that too. after a month of bare ground it'll feel like 30"
  13. Cool, let's keep the low off Wilmington DE so I get the 30" freak deform this go round instead of Dendy.
  14. No dice this morning. Couple stray flakes on the windshield, but that's it.
  15. King of alternative facts lol.
  16. Ten pages of "It looks like a bunny now!" "No, a frog!"
  17. I find as I get older I care less and less about these long boring stretches. They used to eat away at me; it felt like a personal affront to not get snow, but now I can rationalize it. Now it takes a large bust inside 24 hours to send me over the edge. We had two events in 2018 that sent me into towering paroxysms of rage, but that was the last time.
  18. A Ray melt is a good start, but in my opinion we still need Scott to throw a full on DEFCON 1 thermonuclear smiting before this winter can rise reborn from the ashes.
  19. I blew out my knee on that ice; still haven't fully recovered.
  20. I believe the 1918 flu was still around into the 1960s, albeit in a much less deadly form. Hopefully COVID ends up mutating into something more benign too.
  21. That's the one. Forgot we also won the Super Bowl that year. Adds even more to the epicosity.
  22. We had one like that in '15 right? Dumped like 20-25" on eastern Mass if I recall. Long duration.
  23. Crop dusting is good sport.
