Reminds me of a less intense version of 1/27/11. We had a nice 4" snow in the morning, a break during the afternoon, then all hell broke loose at night. I like those multi-faceted events.

Rain is done, temp in the 30s, pack still solid. Analog to Xmas Grinch was a fail. Let's pile it up Thursday/Friday and keep it coming until March.

Mind you, there is a lot of mulch in the suburbs west of Boston. The models are notoriously bad at picking up on it; he may be onto something.
