Yes, the euphoria as the Manitoba Mauler showed up on the modeling that Sunday was at least tantamount to Boxing Day miracle in '10, probably more so because the season had sucked to that point. I remember Scott had an epic melt leading into it. Thanks for the memories.

I believe it. This was my aunt’s house at 2k feet a little north of Brattleboro. She estimated close to 4’ at the time. If you look closely at the pic you’ll see her buried Subaru.

Just had a jebwalk. It's pounding and my absolute favorite kind of snow. Big fluffy aggregates caking every last twig.

Roads were a sheet of ice for the first five miles of my run. Much better on the back half. The prospect of covering my grass tonight has me as excited as a KU at this point.

Back out 2021 and I'm averaging around 13" a season. It's a rat decade so far.

Not sure if it’s still the case, but GFS always sucked at east coast cyclogenesis. Badly missed Feb ‘13 right up to go time. Of course, the Euro isn’t what it once was and the GFS is much improved. Does the Euro still have a penchant for holding energy back in the SW? Perhaps that could be playing a role?

I would take a repeat of either or those in a heartbeat. I’d only ask that the heaviest snow fall during the day, but that doesn’t appear to be on the table here
