  1. I like seeing that the band is starting to back west a bit up in Mass and widen/consolidate down here. We should be good to go for the next few hours.
  2. Glad to hear it. It's beautiful out now. That light baking powder we had earlier has been replaced with heavy gorgeous dendrites. Hoping for the pivot now. Fingers crossed.
  3. With the ratios out there, he'd probably need 5-6" QPF.
  4. Ok, western band is coming in. Snow growth is improving rapidly. Now we just need it to grind to a halt for hours and hours. K, thanks. In fact, let's get that easterly band to back in and merge.
  5. If this band can sit over us for a few hours, WTNH's 0-3" prediction is going to go down in flames.
  6. God I hope so. This was a rude awakening this morning. Hope we can play a little catchup.
  7. I have a feeling this is going to be my version of March '13 in Rhode Island. Can just see the pivot lining up for an old-fashioned cosmic d****ing. 1/4" down and melting, very light flurries and windy. I'm out. Good luck everyone.
  8. Congrats, you have 12x my accumulation so far. Crushing it.
  9. Yeah, this blows, but we knew someone was gonna deal with this. What goes up must come down. We just drew the short straw.
  10. Looks like I'm sucking exhaust from that big band. Western CT setting up to get the goods again.
  11. Looks like NYC gets some deform love and we in central CT sniff subsidence for now.
  12. Wet roads and light snow. That band has just been pinned to eastern Long Island all night. Wish my house of Fishers was winterized, because it's ripping there!
  13. Do we feel this is a situation where you can give the non-hydrostatics an edge vis-a-vis convection driven height rises? Or do we stick to globals to resolve the northern stream interaction?
  14. That's been looking likely for a while. But things are definitely looking up for the river west folks!
