    Looks like we might get our first below freezing day next weekend.

    I saw at least 3 transformers flashing or blowing up near where I live. Also lights flickering in my house. I’m in north Nassau.

    What criteria must be met for them to issue flash flood warnings on our phones? The roads near where I live are flooded and driving conditions are dangerous. There have been times in the past where we didn’t get much rain and still had warnings issued.

    Can anyone explain why the storms on the map are moving north- northeast but the clouds here are going south lol

    There were a lot of CTG lightning north Nassau for a good 15 minutes.
