I am sure the cut off upper-level low that usually comes on Memorial Day weekend will show up and wash out Sunday and Monday this upcoming weekend. -

We now have some lightning in the southern and southeastern sky with very loud thunder in the distance. The Brick wall is up this activity is not coming here. -

I am at 56 with moderate rain and wind NNW at 17 so there is that kiss the 80's goodbye for now. The 80's will be back in a week. This definitely mirrors our October weather pattern from the fall. Almost like fall in reverse to arrive back to a blistering hot dry summer. -

Well, I may agree in the warmer months however the latest tornado outbreak this was not the case it was pure dynamics. The line moved towards the coast and made it with ocean water temps 43-49 degrees north to south. The latest severe weather event was the most interesting I have ever seen in my lifetime especially for April 1st. No Joke! I have never seen anything like this event for these reasons: 1. The constant roar basically for 20-25 minutes it sounded like there was a jet plane 2,000 feet off the ground. 2. The lightning was very unusual sideways lightning strikes that were red and orange?? 3. I also saw lighting in perfect circles like they were rotating. With everything I stated above I would imagine the dynamics were off the chats and also it's not out of the question there was tornadic activity right above the surface if even it was a 500 to 1,000 feet off the ground. A very unusual event there on Saturday, April 1st! All of this happened in Media Delaware County -

Ditto Red Sky here in Media it sounded like a Jet Plane as it approached and when it was on top of us. It was a constant roaring also I saw something else I have never seen before lightning in circles literally shaped like circles. Lights flickered here but never lost power winds gusted probably 50 mph or so. -

Depending how much instability we get with the sun coming out and temps moving 72-76 down here we could see some isolated tornadoes. As always great stuff!! -

Just my thoughts in regards to the next 2 threats it’s over. These next two storms on March 11th and 17th will be well just look out the window today and replicas of the last 8 storms dating back to January. I have been saying it the Gulf and SW Atlantic are on fire and all that warmth is just fueling the SER. I’m very concerned about what this summer has in store for us it cannot be good in regards to heat humidity and drought. I’m also concerned for an East Coast Hurricane strike SC to Long Island watch out. -

Yep we had like bursting snow then it would stop bursting snow then it would stop at 44 degrees then it changed to rain right now 36 light snizzle rain some sleet mixed in with a dewpoint that has risen from 26 to 30 in the past 20 minutes so winter show is over. -

Well I think it would only make sense to end this very warm pattern with a BANG!! Get the right trajectory of cold to mix with the heat to the south and the Big Bang happens pretty simple even if it’s March 12th. Water temps in the Gulf of Mexico nearing 80 at Fort Myers and that heat down there is on the move in time. Like I said an explosive storm can happen between the Mid Atlantic and the Southeastern states the atmosphere is primed! -

Hmm 35-45 mph winds off a warm ocean what can go wrong but I’d think 971 mb would manufacture it’s own cold air. Oh what the hell one more whirl!
