    My WWA for Sussex county calling for up to 1" of snow and sleet. Then .1-.2 of freezing rain. Folks in and around the city shouldn't get their hopes up for more than that.

    Everyone always wishes for blocking, blocking, blocking. Well, you got it. In our area, if the rain isn't close by, chances are the big snow isn't either. 9 times out of10.

    Going now to walk out on the lake to see how the ice fisherman are doing. I wanted to go today but it was just to windy and cold. My kids out there playing hockey also. So maybe I'll watch them a bit till I get to cold.

    I like the light to moderate long duration events. Roads are usually not too bad. Easy cleanup if done a couple times. And, you still get your accumulation.

    My Weather Underground forecast for my area which is usually very bullish, had 2" of snow Tuesday and Tuesday evening this morning. Now says partly cloudy skies. Zero snow

    Regrettably, I agree with you. It is equivalent of the main stream fake media throwing around the term polar vortex. And for that matter, I am so tired of the Weather Channel giving routine winter storms names. Did they name the routine winter weather event moving through North Carolina and Virginia tomorrow?
