yes I agree we are an inch of snow at best tomorrow even though the European model has 850 temps below 32 at 2 o'clock if I'm reading it right maybe temps crash and we can get around an inch for everybody

I'm not looking for affirmation on this I'm just giving you my prediction especially for south and east of us. I believe Richmond Metro will see 2 inches of snow Tuesday Wednesday and I believe eastern parts Eastern Hanover etc. down into Hampton roads etc. will see 4 inches of snow. It's not a pat on the back at all it's just a reminder that everybody gave up pretty early or were giving up on the snow that we got Sunday, a week ago today. They trended a little bit further away at 6Z but the euro and CMC still has what I'm talking about for Tuesday night into Wednesday Not talking about a major storm because that's not what 2 to 4 inches is. I will say this it's just as silly if not more for people to be saying "it's not happening" than it is for me to say 2 to 4. And then I think you see the GFS and then the short term models come closer to that, by tomorrow 18z or 0z late tomorrow

I think the Canadian and the European model are actually coming together. And I think like what usually happens the American models will follow and we will see 2 to 4 inches of very very powdery snow especially the eastern sections of our area and our snow starved southeastern folks which are very very due for a few inches of snow without mixing

Are we still talking GFS or CMC because somebody threw in CMC.

Can somebody who knows explain to me what the difference would be with euro AI and regular the European model? Don't you have to put information into both in order to get whatever output? Does AI supply its own information and where do the weather balloons come in?

it won't be a big deal Sunday but I would be surprised if most places didn't see an inch of snow area wide with some may be getting a tiny bit more and some getting a little bit less. In the evening when the sun goes down

We have the European and the ensembles for Tuesday night and into Wednesday as well as the Canadian and the UKmet I think. I would be surprised if Richmond, didn't get at least 3 inches from Tuesday nights into Wednesday and south n east more.

Really just 4 now which to me means models beginning to converge at least a little. That one shot people posting at least moderate snow here on the Euro was at hour 102!

Just looked at base reflectivity also and it looks like it only snows from like 9p Tue to 3a Wed! It would be nice to get another 50 mile trend NW. Beaches and our SE Va friends on here gonna do real well with this I think!

Ends up with a couple inches for many for this run. Trending better-and it's less than 4 days away! Let's see if the trends continue. Also 850 temps are 10-15 below, so it'll be pure powder with probably 15-1 ratios.

This is so true! I took my son to the Tampa Bay game when literally they were without Brown, D Smith and Lane Johnson! Most of the shows on WIP barely touched on those injuries the days after. I told my son as we were walking out of the stadium, with the talent they have if those guys come back healthy and stay that way, they would be in the NFCCG. Here we are.
