    Lmao!! I have nothing to spare. I had freezing rain all day and then whatever the hell is out there now. I can send a snowball is what I believe I can muster up. Did you really not get anything up that way?

    I actually ended up cashing in on some of the vort swinging through here. Moderate snow for a good while got like 1/2” so it was nice to finally see white falling from the sky and accumulating.

    Man what a surprise! In my office went downstairs and it is absolutely ripping out there! Solid 1/2” easily on all surfaces. Nice to see some snow in the end here.

    Radar looks like sh*t.. it’s like a convective summer time look with showers. Hopefully northern guys score and it congeals but we’re wasting way too much time down this way. No meatballs inbound from the southern crew.

    I’m just hoping we can bottom out as far as possible here before WAA ensues. 30.7 with dew of 25 so it’s been slowly but surely dropping. Forecasted to get to 30 so we’re close.

    Is it me to where the low may be doing wonky things on 0z or is hour 23 on 3k wayyy slower than previous run to where it has low over Hatteras and previous run northeast of Virginia Beach? edit:nvm next hour the low jumps way north and even west. Kind of a weird evolution.

    3k nam coming in colder. More of a sleet than ZR sounding down this way and more snow than mix north of 64. Bodes better for people like @clskinsfan if taken at face value.

    @griteater what’s your take on HRRR? Does it usually run too cold? Latest run looks much colder with several hours of some moderate snow up this way based on this run vs last using cod website.

    Decent little spread there on temp vs dew. I’m down to 32.7 and dew of 27.7 with clear skies so trying to take advantage of that while it lasts.

    So looking at things you guys are actually further to the east of Martinsville than I thought. The corridor from Martinsville up 220 into Roanoke looks like Nam is targeting. A little farther to the east for you guys the amounts lessen but I would still say .1-.2. I would say BornAgain has a better chance to see a little more potential than further south into your area If you were to take Nam verbatim. Key to watch today is how high temps get and how long clouds can hold off tonight for radiational cooling and get the low as far down as possible before WAA takes over and starts slowly bumping the temp up.

    At least down this way back to back runs of some pretty nasty ice accretion. .60” or higher. Even half of that would not be good down this way.

    3k at 38 has much better moisture transport or at least looks more juicy as well. I really need front end to overproduce down this way because I don’t get ccb like a lot of folks farther to my north and east
