100% agree...I think the unraveling will begin within 48 hours. Once the shock wears off and people begin to realize how bad the situation is.....many people couldn't handle the covid lock downs. The aftermath of a direct hit from a strong hurricane will make the Covid lock downs seem like a trip to Disney World.

Falls under the heading of people being careful what they wish for. The impacts will be far greater and far more long lasting than they think it will be. Why anyone wants the devastation of a redux of 1938 is beyond me. All I can say is some of them folk better have a plan in place to protect themselves, their families and their belongings..the hassle of finding people to repair the damage is going to pale in comparison to the protection aspect of the recovery....

People who arent around kids don't realize how bad of an education many kids are receiving....and that includes many parents. At many schools the daily goal is " Let's not do anything that gets us on the 6 o'clock news"....serious issues are being swept under the rug.

....I can't even begin to tell you how bad it is with hs students including athletes. We literally have to teach players how to pay attention and how to absorb and understand what is being taught.
