I read that article yesterday. I do agree that it is a worthwhile read. People who arent around kids don't realize how bad of an education many kids are receiving....and that includes many parents. At many schools the daily goal is " Let's not do anything that gets us on the 6 o'clock news"....serious issues are being swept under the rug.

....I can't even begin to tell you how bad it is with hs students including athletes. We literally have to teach players how to pay attention and how to absorb and understand what is being taught.

There have been numerous psychological studies done on what works to attract viewers/readers..I ve participated in several focus groups on advertising. Ive always been amazed about what prompted some people to react to the ads/commercials....

It is all about getting people to watch and/or page hits to generate advertising dollars. People are attracted to those types of headlines....if they said something like "it's going to be a typical July day in the east"...their audience would be lower.. It is always best to ignore the hype in weather and sports...

It works well for flower gardens and trees/shrubs....the best thing to do is to clean the rain barrel prior to the first use of the season and then every 2-3 weeks during the season.

Nearly everyone I know who lives in NH is praying for rain. I know 2 families who are having watered delivered out of fear that their wells are on the verge of running out of water. The frequency of droughts and the contaminated ground water is going to lead to more and more cities/towns having to install public water systems.

...the only thing that is missing in this setup is the follow up storm that drops another 12-18 inches from the pike south while methuen gets a couple of wind blown flurries...

My next door neighbor had panels installed Oct 2025....took till late May of this year for them to finally work I enjoy chasing off the door to door solar power scum reps....I love when they mutter something and I ask them to repeat what they just said but to say it louder lol....

....owning the panels seems good but down the road you are going to be a contractor's dream come true I know someone who owns the panels on his home. A couple of years ago he put the home up for sale...one slight problem lol....the roof was 28 years old. Every offer he received had a contingency of wanting the panels removed because the prospective buyers did not want to deal with the hassle/cost of having them removed to have a new roof put on the home.. he still owns the home..
