The point is/was is that "normal "really isn't the true normal because of the use of 30 year averages...it makes no sense to use a 30 year period to determine "normal"
My home faces to the SW and I am already noticing a bit of "sun angle issues". For example Tuesday and Wednesday, despite the cold there was melting of the snow and ice on the driveway.
..well it's beginning to get a bit late in the game to make a comeback. Certainly at this point the rest of winter needs to have well above normal snowfall for this winter to even begin to approach normal snowfall totals.
