  1. I prefer to look on the bright side....prevents people from buying them..
  2. you don't need luck...you need
  3. I don't think it is a jerk reaction at all. I have seen the same here in SNE and So NH. Many landscapers have gotten out of the snow plowing business. A guy who lives not too far from me just put hi large pickup truck with a plow up for sale. Many businesses have been negatively impacted by a string of terrible winters.
  4. I think in many cases the snowfall reports were on the low side because of when the main part of the storm hit....in much of SNE and So Nh that was from the evening and overnight. There was considerable blowing and drifiting of snow. At the time I lived not too far from a cemetery that open level fields. During the day a friend and I went to the cemetery to take measurements. Most of the measurements we took were in the 32-34 inch range. I left my car parked in a parking lot overnight. When I woke up the next morning the car was completely covered in snow. Only a small part of the antennae was visible... The heavy snow and the strong winds made that storm one of the most difficult for accurate snowfall measurements.
  5. Agree on this being a garbage winter....well above normal temps and below normal snowfall...
  6. but we now have evidence that the climate has warmed and it continues to warm..back in the 70's the book The Cooling was a much talked about book....reading that book now is a waste of time.. https://www.amazon.com/Cooling-Has-Next-Already-Begun/dp/013172312X#customerReviews
  7. ..but,but you were the one who kept saying "everyone is saying the pattern change is coming".....wasn't that the "gospel" of "everyone"???
  8. ..but the departure is increasing by the day... and I have long ago accepted the role the climate change has had on winter. I'm not one of the hype masters of the forum...
  9. below normal snowfall and above normal temps doesn't deserve anything more than an F grade....it has felt like winter on about 7 days...and the departure from normal snowfall is going to increase over the next 7-10 days... Low temp for the winter so far has been 11 degrees. On pace to not have a single morning temp below 10 degrees.
  10. 40/70 thanks for the weenie BUT how has this winter not been an F- winter???
  11. ..hell the tail is going have to be to as long as a T-Rex's tail to salvage this winter..
  12. ..the day is coming...
  13. Here in the Winter Wonderland aka Methuen it feels like mid March...back to bare ground with some lovely roadside snowbanks..
  14. Do you have any interest in purchasing some Atlantic Ocean beach front property in Utah??
