  1. lol at this guy. Sounds like Kevin on the hurricane hype train.
  2. ...Still no power from this messily storm.
  3. Still no power for me. But at least the clown above me had his generator running for the past 2 days so I couldn't sleep. Dude bails somewhere to go where there is power, but leaves a generator running so that he can salvage a few hamburgers and hot dogs. ...Spend a few $100 on gas to salvage $40 worth of food.
  4. ...I think it was said 5 or 6 years ago when we were nailed with a tropical storm, but I will attempt to reiterate it more eloquently. ...Connecticut is F*CKED if even a Cat 1 rips through the whole state.
  5. You would pretty much have to trim the trees back like 60' or so from the lines.
  6. No matter what I do I am never able to get that cool air to come into my place overnight. I have a fan bringing in the outside air, then another one taking the sh.it, hot stale air out, but it never seems to work. I basically have to have the fan blowing on my face.
  7. Of course. It would be open so who ever sees the link can come in. Even mid-Atlantic or where ever. ... No masturbating on camera though.
  8. I am thinking of setting this up for sometime over the next few weeks...Just making an open zoom meeting that I will keep active where people can come and go when ever for a few hours one night. What day works better for people? I don't think it needs to be on a Saturday since it just an at home deal.
  9. Car here in Manchester said 97 but that was probably wrong.
  10. ...Kevin will be having a total pants tent for the next 2 days.
  11. That is good to hear, because they will get at least 40 new Christmas flicks to choose from. https://www.etonline.com/40-new-hallmark-christmas-movies-for-2020-149694
  12. lol. yup. Even watching those movies, unless the camera is pointed directly at some conifer or holy bush the whole thing looks uber fake. My guess is they will avoid panning up past the 1st floor
  13. Torching into the mid 90's with awful dews, ...but there's still a chance of snow. A Hallmark movie is currently being filmed in my county. These shots are from Woodstock.
  14. lol. Wouldn't it melt after a pretty short time?
  15. The drive back on I-84 was interesting last night. At around 5:30 I was heading out on the Eastbound side and it was literally only raining on the westbound lanes. I could see the rain pouring down on the cars going westbound while I was dry in the eastbound lanes. This lasted from exit 68 - Tolland to exit 69 -Willington. At the same time I could see the blackness lingering off to the north and east. As soon as I got off of exit 69 I was hit with torrential downpours and I think some hail. Then I actually saw the end of the rainbow. It ended (or began) right in the shrubs in front of a house off of route 74. The arc was super low and went right over my car into this guy's yard. I did not see a pot of gold so this must have been the beginning.
  16. Paper is a waste of time at this point. Just bend over in the shower and rinse, or step outside and use the neighbor's hose.
  17. I looked googled the term "non-event". Funny thing was that the system that roared through last night was listed as the number one definition. It literally sprinkled for about 25 minutes after 11pm. There was a slight breeze for some time, but nothing out of the ordinary.
  18. lol. You truly have pitched a pants tent over this.
  19. I read the advanced copy of the Farmers Almanac into the year 2022. It says nothing about tropical anything coming to New England. Plus there are no snowstorms noted either.
  20. For sure. I have never seen a single event garner as much news media attention as this virus. The coverage, including the mis-interpretation of data, and information from experts and government officials alike. ...The problem is, and as it has always been, is that the news outlets don't care. They want to be the FIRST to get it to you and me... They don't give a sh*t what they put out there, and for the most part, the public eats it up regardless. It doesn't matter if what is thrown on to the wall sticks or not, whether it's truth or fiction, the general populous gobbles it up like left over turkey on the last Friday of November. It is downright scary how much the news media controls people's thinking.
  21. Dare I ask what the "D" is? Dry? Dews? Dunkin? Darwin?
  22. Should have posted this in the, Saturday, July 11th, 2020 Euro thread. But since you put it in this thread you might as well leave it here.
  23. @Damage In Tolland sitting in his air conditioned basement, laughing, praying and hoping for endless heat...endless until October that is.
