  1. That's pretty fu*cked up and borderline criminal.
  2. I have actually noticed more signs popping up noting the 3' distance requirement between cars and bikes...Even on narrow roads where this is tough to achieve. Someone that I know who works with highway regulations was telling me that some people want to add runners to that sign to make it clear to drivers.
  3. Do you mean at this point in the long range, with time for shifting, and movement?
  4. I think it was 3 Christmas mornings ago we received a nice 2"-3" event that seemed to come out of nowhere (maybe not nowhere, but not long range). From then on it seemed to set up a cold pattern for a good number of weeks.
  5. Did you almost cause accidents, running out in the road, and around snowbanks where people couldn't see you?
  6. This is exciting news indeed. It will make the Christmas gift of cat umbrellas that I have planned for everyone seem more relevant.
  7. Whatever Steve. Its all tongue in cheek and humor with me. To take a comment saying that I am going to close the shades for 2 weeks and hide out in the dark as a legit, serious statement is on you. Snow is great, but in all honesty it doesn't matter. Have a Merry Christmas.
  8. If active means rain, no thanks. With that being said, shades will be drawn, but I will be sleeping with one eyelid slightly ajar just in case I need to hop on Kevin's bus.
  9. Rain, right on schedule for next week. By Sunday I will be turning out the lights and closing the shades till January.
  10. My brother's place in the Albany area. 36"+ That bump is his mini-van.
  11. Still moderate snow here at work (Manchester, CT)
  12. What kind of temps are we looking at between tomorrow and next week in SNE? We going to lose all of this snow?
  13. Crap. I guess this answers my earlier question. That sucks.
  14. Drove to work at 6 as usual. No one on the road, and it took me maybe 15 minutes longer than usual. Was nice since I seemed to be the only one on the road. Probably a dumb question that I know the answer to, but the whole way from Killingly through Pomfret, Ashford, Tolland, Bolton...All the way in to Manchester it was like 10% fat flakes, and then the rest fine, and medium size flakes. Weak snow growth. Is this subsidence zone sh.it? Literally the whole northeastern corner of the state seemed like this...At least on my route. Not sure how it was overnight, but this is kind of lame now.
  15. Here's to a speedy recovery my brother. Be well and stay safe.
  16. Too much north is going to send too much mix my way. Getting nervous about that b.s. People here have seen my rants on mixing, so I would rather not display such vulgar-ness, and self destructive behavior. Are we looking at wind issues? If so, where?
  17. Lol....After I typed that I knew I should have rephrased it.
  18. Thanks. I have just never seen the word "control " used when discussing the ensemble mean.
  19. Crappy morning at work. Please post clown maps to cheer me up. ...Post snowiest solutions only. Thanks in advance.
