Yeah, but the archaic power grid in CT bows to 35-40 mph gusts. We have lost power 3 times this summer to much less than a classic nor easter as far as winds go. It's vulnerable locations and businesses and places of residence for certain people that will be the issue, regardless of what sound is heard above.

Plain and simple....Not enough underground infrastructure and/ or trees removed around the lines. People from other parts of the world, including rural zones laugh at our toothpick, above ground power grid. My 3 friends who work for Eversource will be looking forward to days of overtime incoming.

Ahhhh. I see Covid Thread V2.0 is still alive and well.

I was in North and South Carolina for about 10 days at the end of June. What I found interesting when talking with people who live and work in the Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Asheville, N.C. area was that the states were not as "wide open" and hap-hazard as the news media portrayed during the peak covid times. Business were very in tune with CDC guidelines for mask wearing, and social distancing. Our visit happened to coincide at a point when many guidelines were recently lifted. Many restaurants and other places still had employees wearing masks.

We is all we are.
