  1. I have picked up poison ivy on the legs multiple times, but still refuse to wear long pants.
  2. Wow. Busy day. What order do these events occur on a daily basis? I have allergies, and get my legs scratched from high grass, or whatever, but I refuse to wear long pants when doing lawn stuff in the heat.
  3. Ray definitely speaking from swampass experience.
  4. I only wear speedos in the winter, when temps are below 30F.
  5. I saw 30F from within the safe and warm and cozy confines of my autocarriage this morning, but as I drove up and down the crests and valleys the temp fluctuated a few degrees. I don't think those temps were correct though. Seems kind of low from the forecasted 36F that I was suppose to see.
  6. Scott will be battling constant bouts of insomnia like this guy in a few years after staying awake during never ending model runs starting 10 days out. Meanwhile, Kevin will be laughing with his 8 hours of sleeping like a baby, and daily 5 mile runs at 4am. https://www.unilad.com/community/randy-gardner-sleep-experiment-insomnia-20221019?source=facebookstories&fbclid=IwAR3H_OBFc75DkT6WjURKw-PFi2QEBrOrCOqyZ_Nkureppejz6MAPvCT2EQs
  7. lol. The discussions on the time change and sleep in here were gold last night.
  8. If things happened differently that would still be a golf course. But, it looks nice as filled in field too.
  9. I didn't realize this. Are you including the web of stations that EEI has throughout the region?
  10. lol. What Youtube rabbit hole brought you to this?
  11. I never knew about the Jones act. I am sure there is more detail, but thanks for your summary. This was educational. As far as pipeline's coming in to New England, I had always heard that New York State was the problem, and specifically counties in the lower part of the state (below Delaware, Greene and Columbia counties) not wanting pipeline's running through their borders...The NIMBY crowd so to speak. I am not sure if that is true, but it seems to come up when this discussion arises.
  12. I am still not sure if there is room for 2 major sports stations in the region, and this may indeed reinforce this. Overall I think that EEI is far superior across the board. People may not like some of the hosts throughout the day's programing, but overall I think it is a decent product and better than what the hub has to offer. I wouldn't be surprised to see 98.5 become a Christian broadcast station within the next year or 2. Feel Good, Christian broadcasting will be taking over the world of terrestrial radio as we know it over time.
  13. Bring them to the gtg in December. We shall dance, and sing around a blazing fyr, and drinketh to deep white snow, frozen lakes, and good friends.
  14. One of a few beer steins that I have.
  15. That early in the day should be fine for parking. There is a lot right next to the building.
  16. I agree, and was commenting on this the other day. Very bright and vibrant. I thought the general rule of thumb was stein summer = sh.it color, and late?
  17. I took this in my front yard at my house in Brooklyn a few years back. Sh.it pic (on the verge of big foot 1970's quality), but the others I took were worse.
  18. Probably the 3rd. Its a Binghamton, NY trip that I think can happen either weekend. I have to check with my cousin.
  19. Just last night I lost 2 Saturday's between now and Christmas for other events...November 12th (I think this was the same event I had last year that killed the November gtg for me), and one Saturday in early December (either 3rd or 10th).
  20. Older people living off of the Zeppelin, Aerosmith vibe that they seem to give off.
