  1. I thought so. Love the shades of grey on that.
  2. I always find it awesome when this stuff is seen on the fly like this and people can take a photo. I would have done the same thing in the middle of the road if I could.
  3. Be safe ...said in a serious tone this time. Eversource now showing 100% outage.
  4. Saw a pic of 1.5" hail ...and this from Windsor.
  5. Just spoke to my mom (southbury). Said it was really pretty scary...short, but scary. Where are you now?
  6. The purple dot? Not too far from my parents.
  7. Crap. That is not good. My parents are right up the way in Southbury...Eversource reporting 99% outage.
  8. The heavies just ripped through town. A bit of lightning and some thunder, but overall pretty meh here with a side of eh. Is nice to see some lightning and a few rumbles of thunder though. Edit: Was nice looking south and seeing brightness and north seeing the satanic darkness though when driving up from Norwich.
  9. I find it funny that the biggest severe fanatic (Paul) never seems to post (or does so in limited fashion) on the active severe threads.
  10. My 19.5 was right near that 21.1. I should have given you that number.
  11. 19.5 total for me (including the final burst last night) but I do think me and you shorted ourselves by an inch or 2. I measured 19" @ 5pm. My first and only measurement of the day. No board clearing.
  12. lol. He actually said that in a live statement, pointing you out?
  13. 13.5" Brooklyn. Not my measurement but measurement from my daughter. I have taught her not to be a slant sticker but she could be off. Edit: 13.75
  14. Wow. First I've seen a radar image today. Looks like Brooklyn was getting pounded. But here in Manchester, just near Hartford I can definitely see how we were in that area of weakness.
  15. Just a real fine snow here. Visibility is not the best, but the snow is just not amounting to much.
  16. Really not much here at work (Manchester). Maybe an inch or 2 if that. Hopefully it's piling up better back in Brooklyn. I have not checked with my source there yet.
  17. Snow growth not too great here at work in Manchester, but was pretty good in Brooklyn, 40 miles east. Definitely a different scene back home.
  18. I was under the impression this was going to be a dry snow. Sh*t is wet and heavy. 34F right now.
  19. Brought back to life for the Codfishsnowman.
  20. Idiot me. lYeah. Full foliage, and tons of tree damage. Roads were still being cleared 3 -4 weeks later. I suppose it's pretty comparable to the damage in CT a few years back during the October storm.
