    The 12Z brings the mid week storm up the coast a scochie bit and grazes the DE beaches. CMC remains consistent for MLK. Side Note: I don't have Ice strom in Florida on my weather bingo card.

    CMC Shows it again at 6Z. Looks like it backed off the totals slightly. GFS gives the south a crushing ice storm then shreds apart in the colder air once it hits the coast. Euro is in La La Land. Welp. Enjoy the sub zero temps next week!

    Yeah 6Z runs were garbage to say the least. Isn't it that you get the long range bomb, then after a day you lose it for a few days only for it to come back a week out?

    My goodness the end of that GFS run. I know it's Fantasyland and all, but that shows snow to ice to snow for 2 days.

    I like what I am seeing long range. Couple models show a long duration event. Few waves in the mix, however still 9-10 days out. We keep the side eye till Monday.

    Yeah... 06 models didn't show much for next week either. Guess we keep an eye on the MLK/ Inauguration storm.

    I would be happy with a handful of 3-6, or 4-8 inch storms throughout the year rather than one massive storm and call it a wonderful winter snow wise. Just seems lately we want to go big or go home cause those moderate boarderline SECS storms aren't as frequent. 2021 was a great year in that regard.

    Still a beautiful run with the 18Z. Not a nuke like 12Z, but we still get laid down with a HECS we would all be happy with. I do notice a thermal issue perhaps? CMC and ICON are in the neighborhood looking for the street to turn on for the GFS house party. See what the Euro does here as well as the Ensembles. I'll miss the Euro tonight.
