    Does the model inconsistency have anything to do with the serious cold air in place, or cold air coming? Just asking.

    Seems like theres no solid agreement on any 6Z models for the next week other than to show a big dog next Wed-Fri. I'm a weenie so I defer to those who know. Is one reason for this from the cold air plunging down messing things up so to say?

    18Z runs are right where we want them at this point. Both Euro and GFS.

    The 12Z brings the mid week storm up the coast a scochie bit and grazes the DE beaches. CMC remains consistent for MLK. Side Note: I don't have Ice strom in Florida on my weather bingo card.

    CMC Shows it again at 6Z. Looks like it backed off the totals slightly. GFS gives the south a crushing ice storm then shreds apart in the colder air once it hits the coast. Euro is in La La Land. Welp. Enjoy the sub zero temps next week!

    Yeah 6Z runs were garbage to say the least. Isn't it that you get the long range bomb, then after a day you lose it for a few days only for it to come back a week out?

    My goodness the end of that GFS run. I know it's Fantasyland and all, but that shows snow to ice to snow for 2 days.

    I like what I am seeing long range. Couple models show a long duration event. Few waves in the mix, however still 9-10 days out. We keep the side eye till Monday.
