  1. Somewhere around 2010 we had an -NAO on steroids. That was the year DC got like 3 or 4 huge storms and we sucked on cirrus
  2. I follow the Sandwich Fire Dept. on FB. They were posting all the calls they went out on today. They just kept posting about trees down on houses, trees down on wires, poles on fire, snapped poles, live wires down and arcing. Then they started a list list of roads that were impassable due to downed debris. It's a war zone.
  3. Dang it I have no place to measure. The back deck and yard are scoured bare, and the front yard is one giant wave drift. The driveway has been contaminated by the plow equipment. They plowed, and then came around with a huge snowblower on a skid steer and widened the street by snowblowing the plow piles up onto everyone's driveway. I can tell you that the snow is so dense, when I walk on it I don't sink more than two inches. WOMAN SNOW!
  4. No, the back yard gets scoured by a NE wind. I'd have to go to my front yard to measure
  5. Got the nice big fat flakes, but the classic intensity is lacking...still, I was stuck with baking powder sand all day so it's nice to see these beautiful flakes
  6. I haven't gone out at all. I thought I would just eyeball off the table on my porch. But nothing more than 2 inches accumulated, so I guess I have to go out to my driveway
  7. Oh ok, this radar is much better. I see why I'm not getting anything, I'm still in that small area of subsidence
  8. I can't figure out how we are getting nothing. How much did you get today?
  9. My friend in middleboro just sent me a text saying he's in a heavy band. So how can it not be snowing where I am? Radar shows I'm under that band?
  10. Supposedly I'm under that band, it's not doing anything
  11. Besides an hour before the sun came up, when I was in the band that eventually parked in metrowest, it hasn't been bad in my area of plymouth. There was actually long thing oval of subsidence that hung out in my area all day. You can see bands rotate in from the ocean and when they pass the canal they die out. But I'm ok, we have cable, power, internet, heat, and my roof is intact.
  12. Temp drop again 30/30 Also, pressure is rising now
  13. The town of Sandwich is getting annihilated. Constant pounding with heavy wet snow bands. Almost the entire town without power. Telephone poles on fire, lots of main roads blocked with down trees...disastah!
  14. Well, if the only posters who are complaining have weenies, it's not the labia that's the problem
  15. Will is getting annihilated! That band is producing 3-4 per hour Medway, Holliston, framingham...holy fook
  16. Looks like the band to my SE should rotate in. Will is getting annihilated
  17. Also I'm in a relative area of subsidence. There is a band that keeps pulsing up to my NW and one to my SE
  18. Over 30% of plymouth with out power. I lost cable and internet but have power. I'm sure that will go soon. I'm not getting the 18-24 Because of ratios...it was 4:1 Here. Also, Jim Cantore is in Plymouth
  19. He must be insane, the only one calling 40" was James, and he's not a forecaster. He's just a very exuberant wishcaster...gotta love the kid's enthusiasm, though
