  1. Same old, same old? and especially NEVER LOOK AT THE NAM lol
  2. Yeah nice job Scott.Btw, people looking at Euro snowfall verbatim compared to 12z...don't forget what already fell.
  3. Yeah....Euro is not going to fail 3-6 hours out. It will tell us the answer in 30 minutes.
  4. Good...never been great at eyeballing it, but like I said the flakes are really being pulverized by the wind, which is starting to howl.
  5. You know I live just SE of him. Flakes are just being demolished though
  6. None of these latest model runs have any practical meaning. Any preparations are already made, or not made.
  7. Agree. But it has been ticking, just ticking, east the last two runs.
  8. Had to repost this from somewhere else, too awesome http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/isobaric/1000hPa/orthographic=-71.42,38.72,2494
  9. The Euro was also too far west. As usual, the blend is your friend.
  10. I would pretty much expect the Euro to continue making the same ticks east it made at 0z and 12z. Small ones, but ticks nonetheless.
  11. Hmm... I don't think the GFS has a very good handle on this storm, but the GFS and RGEM are almost spitting images of each other.
  12. HIRES NAM isn't as bad for NE CT as the LESSRES NAM. RGEM has shown the same two max zones for the past 4 runs, extremely consistently. NAM has been fairly consistent for a couple runs as well though.
  13. He's right though...the Euro has the same idea, but more QPF for us anyway. Even if the band doesn't pivot and rot over us, it will still come through.
  14. I tried to post this yesterday, but I don't remember if it went through with all the board issues. For posterity:
  15. If the Euro is right, it will completely shut down NYC metro, which wouldn't be comparable to Feb 13 IMHO.
