  1. 600k out in CT My entire town is powerless I'm going to the beach
  2. I took a video of that too, but I agree that it doesn't do it justice.
  3. Took a ride through town...decent amount of big branches and some smaller trees down. Nothing uprooted thanks to the drought. But decent event, better than a typical high wind warning.
  4. Baby blue skies QUICKLY coming into view
  5. Did they try to hide in a barn but it was full of slaughtering equipment so they went and strapped themselves to a well and fell back in love?
  6. The wind field was huge though
  7. Even so, isn't the catch 22 of getting a good tropical cyclone hit in a nontropical climate that it has to be booking it to get here before it weakens? Unless it pulls a Sandy.
  8. I feel like it was. Maybe I have weenie goggles for the past
  9. Similar to Sandy? But duration not anywhere close.
  10. What's insane is the rain is missing me by less than 5 miles, YGBFKM
  11. I always thought wind was invisible
  12. Definitely some good gusts. I lost power like I always do, a few decent sized branches down in my yard and the neighbors. No tomato casualties yet.
  13. Not from McDonalds, Paul...
  14. Yes, this is what I thought as well
  15. I could always use a fish sandwich.
  16. He already explained what he was referring to, why would you post this
  17. This same cell has kept its rotation intact, TOR warned as soon as it approached land on LI
  18. Right, the worst has yet to come for sure. But that intensity will be quick to come and go. Without the rain to soften the soil, I'm not sold on widespread downed trees. If you get hit by one of the severe cells, that's different, but most places won't.
  19. And the ukie ones as well
  20. I know, TC warning. Winds in excess of 39 mph.
  21. Must be, if you are getting gusts from them in Branford
