Isolated instances of flash flooding are possible.

  10. Meanwhile we have a 'cold water while boating' hazardous weather outlook down here: Air temperatures will rise into the 70s to lower 80s across much of the region on Saturday. However, water temperatures remain in the 40s and 50s. The cold water temperatures can quickly cause hypothermia and physical incapacitation to anyone suddenly immersed in the water. Anyone venturing out on the water in small boats, canoes or kayaks tomorrow should be mindful of the cold water dangers.

  12. What a wonderful spring day. 38 and rain.
  13. Not just prepping for it. Enjoying Spring. Crocus and Hyacinth blooming. Daffodils not far behind. Sugar maple buds all turning bright red. Spring is here!
  14. Pizza talk is better than dews talk. 49/43 and overcast for the 1st day of spring. Typical.
  15. 68/28 here. Fantastic last day of winter.
  16. We use Simparico Trio. One pill a month. Works great to keep the ticks from biting and they eventually die. (no fleas or heartworm either)
  17. Hit 53 again today. Sun is warm, trails are dry. Nice for walking the doggo, except I just took the first motherf*ckin' tick of the year off his head.

  20. As interesting as it would be to see PF's Mount Mansfield stake make a run at a record depth, this polar vortex needs to GTFO! I'm ready for an early spring.
  21. Meanwhile down on the shore KGON jumped from 37 to 50 in 18 minutes.
  22. Interesting obs right now. 55 at Montauk. Still only 37 at GON. Can't imagine that happens too often.
