  1. So far east of the river is a shut out in CT. Will wait to see what happens when the front gets closer. FINALLY....got some humidity down here, but still not hot. 84/77.
  2. Got em' here too. Just about decimated my Crab Apple tree.
  3. This normal summer warmth feels great. Still waiting for the dews that have been promised for weeks by some. 85/61 45% humidity.
  4. Can hear thunder all around. To the east and southwest. Not a drop of rain here so far.
  5. Agreed, looks like SE CT won't see much, if anything from this. On the other hand it's a beautiful day outside.
  6. Heating up and drying out again today. 85/59 at IJD currently. Not a dew in sight. I suppose I'll install this evening. Still not convinced I'll need to turn them on though.
  7. Excellent COC - 87/56 yesterday. Fantastic 59 overnight for a great sleep. Still haven't installed. Might have to do it today.
  8. lol....a gif that only shows 30 minutes from this morning. Cherry. Picked.
  9. Pretty unusual for this time of year. KGON is warmer than KIJD at this time in the day. 83 vs 81. Nice north wind keeping it warm at GON. Ledge Light in the mouth of the Thames River is only 66.
  10. 8" total. A decent amount of compaction with the sleet we had.
  11. Sun is out but it's still snowing. 3" total for here.
  12. Very sad that messenger is no longer with us. This combined with the radar give me the feeling that this would the perfect storm for him to diagnose. There'd be arguments for pages of him telling us the storm isn't coming and everyone else talking about delusions of the radar showing northerly movement. I might be wrong, but this definitely feels and looks like it's going to be an under performer. I think she's going wide right.
  13. 16" here, might squeak out another tenth. Parents in Niantic said about 18" around 6pm. They might have gotten a bit more after that as this final batch has been moving through.
  14. Low level circulation definitely ripping off to the east now...
  15. NO way that Norwich CT reading of 9" is correct. They were in a heavier part of the band for hours and I'm over 13" here to the west of them in Salem.
  16. Snowing lightly now that I'm in between the 2 heavy CT bands. Just took 3 measurements. 12.5", 13.5" and 15" on flat areas of the driveway away from the house. So I'll call it 13.75" so far. Might be able to squeak out another inch if that west most band moves overhead before the end.
  17. Poor Kevin sucking fumes. Ginxy naked! Not too bad here IMBY - just to the west of the yellow returns in the eastern band. Almost 6" total so far.
  18. 23" total so far. Still coming down nicely here in the very SE corner of Salem.
  19. In case people haven't seen this...a 5 day animation of the vis/ir satellite view of the storms. http://gizmodo.com/5805821
