  1. ^^ This is a 'classic' Miller B look for my area, deeper snow to central Wv, a skip over us then heavy again once the coastal gets cranking. I'm not complaining, just know how it will go if this is the outcome. Someone else's turn to get large numbers lol.
  2. If I remember right this area out here got two 20" snows back to back.
  3. *Contemplates how many times 'Miller B' and 'screw job' have left western VA in a shadow........* Even a hybird can create a 'hole' in western VA/eastern WV depending on how far the transfer occurs.
  4. LOL, Both our phones and the TV and the weather radio ALL went off at same time for a FFW, life threatening and dangerous for area until 10:45 pm. Scared wife and the cat, they both jumped.
  5. Feb 2010?? EDIt- ninja'd by @DDweatherman lol
  6. Well over an inch since this morning. A few flakes mixed in early, but rain since. 33.4/32.5 at 3 pm. Main concern now is the snow melt with the rain, already the small 'run/ditch' that is dry 90% of the year behind the house is running 8-12" deep. And what is running off the hill on the other side of property is moving fast too.
  7. A good time? BTW is that a pos-trac or open diff on the Olds?
  8. Well, still waiting on precip, lol. Clouds locked us in, stayed 31/32 all night. Currently 32.3/22.0 at 7:30 am. We may still get to 28/29 depending on how soon and steady precip moves in. A 2.5 average on snowpack, 0.76 SWE. A few spots south facing hillsides have gone bare, 5 inches easy still in shaded spots, 5/95 on ratio.
  9. 32.9/16.0 at 11 pm. Clouds already filling in fast, let's see if we wet bulb when precip gets here, should be in the 28.2-28.7 range from here.
  10. Randy, thanks for the laughs! The last two pages with other's comments have been golden! Bring this thing home!
  11. Looks like you got no 'divine intervention' with that bill!
  12. IF that all fell as snow, congrats @George BM for the snowfall contest win
  13. 19.9 for the low, snow ranges from 3 inches on south facing hillside to 5.5 in shaded spots, 4 inch average. Had some misty sprinkles then flurries last night with those gusty NW winds.
  14. Back to freezing mark at 8:30 pm. 32.0/21.7 and windy, NW at 11 gusting 26.
  15. Might not be the place, but a legitimate question. Where is the national snow analysis NOHRSC getting this from? Showing my location gaining 12-13 inches on the 15th/16th?
  16. High was 47.7 around 3:15. Front must have passed then because winds got gusty, and temp started down. Currently 39.8/26.1 and NW winds 12 gusting 25 mph at 4:35 pm.
  17. Aren't those the ones that cause Blue Ridge Striped Fever?
  18. Can verify, son lives and works Park City.
  19. Before my time, but record searching most spots this way were 15-22 inches from it.
  20. Yes it snowed lightly here for about 6 hours then went heavy for almost 24 here for that event.
  21. Made it up to 46.8/35.0 at 1:30 pm. Drip, drip, drip off the roof. Supposed to drop near 20 tonight, was is left of snow will become concrete like last time.
