  1. Yeah, not bullet-proof, but a +3 DP to every -1 temp is a good average.
  2. Not sure what that would have looked like here this afternoon, but I can say it took about an hour before the virga passing overhead made it to the ground.
  3. Had about a 10 minute period of snizzle when dbz on radar dropped to 10-15, but back to snow (almost+) now that 20-30 range has moved back in. Currently 24.9/22.4. Just cleared the snow board as it was just a tick over 6 hours since it has started at 2:30 pm, 3.0 on the money.
  4. Probably just radar issues, it is spotty out that way
  5. Just measured 2" on the money at 6:30 pm. Still snowing pretty good. 24.6/21.1
  6. Snip&Sketch, copied and pasted
  7. We 'virga'd' for a good 45 minutes to hour before it started hitting the ground this afternoon.
  8. Absolutely pouring here, closest cam.
  9. Great. Hope he makes it safely!
  10. They treated major roads (64/220/60) here yesterday.
  11. Snowing here, roads are covered that are not treated. DC? Is he traveling 95 south to 85 now? THAT would be a much better chance of missing most of this.
  12. He has posted near Eagle Rock, about 15/18 miles south of me, and I agree with the truck lol.
  13. Gone from small flakes to large dendrites with visible 'arms' as they fall, beautiful! Currently 26.8/19.9
  14. That would be awesome, but I sorta doubt it will. I'll most certainly go sleet at some point, if not freezing rain. Just a little too far south for this one, still thinking we get 4-6 before the mess arrives.
  15. Small flakes but finally snowing here. We'll see what happens. Down to 29.8/14.0.
  16. Waiting, but it is close. Cameras in White Sulphur Springs are flaking. Currently 32.3/5.8.
  17. He wants to get thru there then. My 'start time' is 4 pm here, same as Roanoke. His trip from Roanoke down to I-77/I-40 meet may be a bit dicey.
  18. High was 26.7 degrees today, chilly but not a record for a 'cool max', as 2018's 18.7 will easily stand.
  19. I went 22/18/21 I think, so I'm rooting against myself for a hit up there lol.
  20. Yep, and 0.6 so far this! And I feel lucky, just south was even worse, Blacksburg did 3.5 and Roanoke 4.1 for last year.
