  1. There was one frame that had a distinct comma but it quickly disappeared.
  2. That line near Charlottesville/Lynchburg looks like it’s bowing out. .
  3. A couple times in the 12 years I’ve been on DC. Sometime in the last few years actually had a few weeks of highs in the 70s.
  4. Pretty crazy lightning and thunder show the last hour in the Alexandria Fort Belver area .
  5. I didn’t know there was a whole thread! I was positing in DISCOBS. I left Alexandria at 11 pm this night and drove nearly 250 miles round trip. Weather was actually worse in Shenandoah from 1-4 am. It wasn’t until on my way home passing back over the blue ridge that the skies cleared and I saw the aurora over Leesburg.
  6. I walk from DC to DCA metro these days to get some steps in after work before heading to new home in Alexandria. I enjoy the views along the Mount Vernon Trail. .
  7. I remember watching radar. I think the funnel cloud over the capitol is what was tracked near Fort Meade later! .
  8. I remember the clouds swirling over DC this day. Believe a funnel cloud was also reported near the capitol.
  9. Man. Lots of thunder and lightning last night with two rounds of heavy rain. And hail this morning. .
