  1. Thank you! Had no clue about the elevation there. The models keep showing heavy totals up that way but i learned my lesson on my last chase to Colorado.
  2. Anyone on here from near like Malone NY? Wonder if that could be a good destination
  3. Maybe I take a quick flight to Malone NY or somewhere around there for this next finale event. Wonder if there’s an outside shot at 2 feet somewhere.
  4. Winter finale this week. Thinking about heading to like Malone NY, somewhere far N NY....could see 12-20”. I think I’ve personally witnessed more snow than anyone in the country this year lmao
  5. I’m contemplating driving up somewhere upstate NY for the winter finale. If we get closer and there’s a shot for 15-20” somewhere I’ll do it. I give that about a 10% chance but ya never know! It’s a pretty potent ULL but it closes off too far NE. Wish the block could force it South some.
  6. We have like 250 days of warm wx ahead who cares if we sandwich in a freak inch or two
  7. Once again, you get heavy enough snowfall with marginal temps at night time it’ll stick on grass at least, I’d obviously sell at this range but it’s fun to look at
  8. With that 50/50 out there and the block wonder if we see this trend even better
  9. The 00z Para also drops a closed ULL same time period as EURO & Control. Just not south enough yet. There's definitely a threat for inland & NNE in this time period.
  10. Was gonna ask the same thing it’s a large bush there’s many of them in the neighborhood and each one has same amount of pollen. It keeps leaves all year I thought it was a pine but maybe not? Last night something must of moved the branches because a huge plume of what I thought was smoke surrounded my car. This morning I figured out it was pollen. Pretty wild
  11. 12z run tried as well, but farther East.. OP then Para
  12. Even though I'm moving up to Worcester next Fall I wouldn't mind one last chase especially after my recent bust chase to Colorado Estes Park (compared to areas N/E of me)... 6z GFS had a very strong coastal Day 8-10 and some ENS/GEFS members have it as well...
  13. Pollen in the bush near my house. Ive lived here my entire life and this is first time I remember this.
  14. I don’t care what anyone says. This is the worst time of the year.
  15. That was one of the spots we tried to get to Saturday afternoon. No drivers willing to go though. Ugh
  16. Hey guys, storm was kind of a bust in Estes Park. We got 16-18" I'd guess. It is beautiful out here though so no complaints. Just on and outside the mountains got absolutely pummeled. I would have actually done better if I had gotten trapped at the airport lmao. Thanks to all who donated to my gofundme. I'll post pics/vids when I get home. My flight is tonight around midnight. Another positive from the storm? I got over my fear of flying. So next year my range for chasing will drastically change and I will 100% chase some LES. Can't wait already. Living the dream!!
  17. Day 8-9 seems like another interesting time period. OP GFS might dig another deep H5 low
  18. You guys see the 00z CMC over the next 10 days? Has another big Denver event Day 8-9, and also seems to be a big hit over weekend. Maybe ill fly back out here
  19. I brought the snow magnet with me in Estes Park. We had a solid morning. Got to walk down into town in like a foot of snow, but it has been flurries for hours now while just NE of town getting crushed. Mesos showed that snow bowl over me, but was hoping it wouldn't verify. Oh well. Still a fun time so far.
  20. I brought the Heisy magnet with me. Flurries for a few hours now ha. Meso Models actually accurately forecasted the snow hole near Estes today. Me and the friend I’m with tried to get out N of here late yesterday but it was too late. Still, we got to walk down into town in a foot of snow this morning was nice scenery.
  21. Doing ok here in Estes but seems the really good dbz stays JUST to the ENE.
  22. Alright here we go. Radar lighting up now near Estes and points N & E. Dumping quite well outside. The race to 2 feet begins. No measurement yet, but id eyeball 4-5"
