  1. Was gonna ask the same thing it’s a large bush there’s many of them in the neighborhood and each one has same amount of pollen. It keeps leaves all year I thought it was a pine but maybe not? Last night something must of moved the branches because a huge plume of what I thought was smoke surrounded my car. This morning I figured out it was pollen. Pretty wild
  2. 12z run tried as well, but farther East.. OP then Para
  3. Even though I'm moving up to Worcester next Fall I wouldn't mind one last chase especially after my recent bust chase to Colorado Estes Park (compared to areas N/E of me)... 6z GFS had a very strong coastal Day 8-10 and some ENS/GEFS members have it as well...
  4. Pollen in the bush near my house. Ive lived here my entire life and this is first time I remember this.
  5. I don’t care what anyone says. This is the worst time of the year.
  6. That was one of the spots we tried to get to Saturday afternoon. No drivers willing to go though. Ugh
  7. Hey guys, storm was kind of a bust in Estes Park. We got 16-18" I'd guess. It is beautiful out here though so no complaints. Just on and outside the mountains got absolutely pummeled. I would have actually done better if I had gotten trapped at the airport lmao. Thanks to all who donated to my gofundme. I'll post pics/vids when I get home. My flight is tonight around midnight. Another positive from the storm? I got over my fear of flying. So next year my range for chasing will drastically change and I will 100% chase some LES. Can't wait already. Living the dream!!
  8. Day 8-9 seems like another interesting time period. OP GFS might dig another deep H5 low
  9. You guys see the 00z CMC over the next 10 days? Has another big Denver event Day 8-9, and also seems to be a big hit over weekend. Maybe ill fly back out here
  10. I brought the snow magnet with me in Estes Park. We had a solid morning. Got to walk down into town in like a foot of snow, but it has been flurries for hours now while just NE of town getting crushed. Mesos showed that snow bowl over me, but was hoping it wouldn't verify. Oh well. Still a fun time so far.
  11. I brought the Heisy magnet with me. Flurries for a few hours now ha. Meso Models actually accurately forecasted the snow hole near Estes today. Me and the friend I’m with tried to get out N of here late yesterday but it was too late. Still, we got to walk down into town in a foot of snow this morning was nice scenery.
  12. Doing ok here in Estes but seems the really good dbz stays JUST to the ENE.
  13. Alright here we go. Radar lighting up now near Estes and points N & E. Dumping quite well outside. The race to 2 feet begins. No measurement yet, but id eyeball 4-5"
  14. Looking at the radar though Wyoming was the spot for the chase. As Walt drag tells me you always want to be farther N of H5 low. We tried to get out there this afternoon but no transportation. Hoping 2 feet happens still but gonna need some better trends
  15. Yea this is huge next few hours. Need it to start rotating in from the south so we can get into the pivot. Para shifted N a bit I think, but euro looks fine.
  16. Yep it’s picking up everything covered now here we go...
  17. You guys think we should make a last second shift to Laramie?!
  18. Ohh that’s a place I was just looking at myself for maybe last second move. There’s an Inn I saw near you.
  19. Where are you located Valpo? With the snow not being bad yet even here wondering if I should head out N to a dif spot while I still can but idk. This is always the stressful part of chasing. We’ll know by like 11-12 tonight and how radar is looking
  20. Looking at the gfs if my time is correct this is 11pm tonight our time. Has an extremely heavy band of precip. 3-4”+? per hour snows
