  1. Front reminds me a bit of December 2000 mid Month front. Anyone remember that? It eventually setup the dec 30 event... euro looks nice at end of the run
  2. We actually would probably prefer it to be more positively tilted that way the front of the trough could lower heights more. That’s if there was still enough energy rounding the base
  3. Nice setup end of the run. I bet we’ll see DT barking soon if this look continues
  4. I thought the slp was developing down off NC capes instead of much farther N like the 0z...NAM is digging more this run fwiw
  5. I tried using it last night when I saw the tweet about it. It’s terrible. Takes too long, graphics look outdated. The old one was fine lol , they didn’t have to completely change the whole thing right? I don’t know anything about graphic design or programming so unsure.
  6. It does seem fun especially for NE from early next week, if the day 4 event works out, all the way through new years
  7. Wish the 6z euro went beyond 90 hours because the low was forming in a much better spot...
  8. Could you imagine if that verifies for S NY? 2 feet on top of what they’d have? Lol
  9. Few runs in a row now with that block forming right after Christmas. This is how we snow. We take! Hopefully it’s legit...so far this winter blocks have come to fruition so we’ll see.
  10. Lookin at the cmc it cuts inland. Idk about temps until SV comes out, probably heavy hitter far Inland.
  11. The issue with this one if it happens will be BL temps depends how it cranks though idk. Not much HP to north
  12. 00z cmc is a full blown nor’easter on the black and white maps....I’ll post
  13. I would post them but AM doesn’t let me add files that are screen shotted, file is too big. You can’t copy paste from stormvistas site it just gives you a blank map lol
  14. Exactly. That’s plenty of room and phase interaction already occurrjng
  15. 18z euro has the northern branch diving farther south at 90 hours. Looks really good
  16. How’s it look through 115 hours or so. Curious if any ensembles developed a low off the coast
  17. I mean the gfs is basically a cold front near Christmas. Not saying that’s what it’ll be but that’s why it looks like that
  18. Oh my bad you’re right...I’m used to just the basic old pos GFS lol. They don’t run the new gfs during happy hour what else can I do?!
  19. I’m not? OP 18z gfs. It grazes the cape and extreme SE MA between hours 99-111
  20. Strip of light blue (4-6”)on stormvista maps SE Ma. That has to be encouraging considering model bias.
  21. The fast flow behind it makes it tough for this thing to tuck in. Close call. If anything it sets up a better Christmas period imo
  22. 18z GFS has a nice neg tilt at 84 hours...
