  1. Looks like the cold front is just west of a Springfield/ Granby line.
  2. Snowing now in the higher elevations of the Catskills and Green Mountains. Cold air bleeding into SW Massachusetts.
  3. That map shows snowcover in the CRV, Farmington River Valley and my area which is technically the Scantic River Valley. My elevation is 115'.
  4. 4pm, some grass showing up, but it's been raining and 50F.
  5. About 1-6" here. High of 51F here, yesterday was in the 30's until 4pm.
  6. The northern part of Enfield was colder than me yesterday, but I got more sleet in my part of town, I got about 5" of concrete. What's left is that tough base layer.
  7. It's uphill after the turn and the plow driver raises the plow.
  8. Getting some rain ahead of the cold front. 50F with areas of dense fog over the snowpack about 10-25' high.
  9. About 99% snow coverage here, some damp and flood prone spots are bare.
  10. When I lived in Coventry, a solid snowpack would start it's journey to the Connecticut River, once Southerly winds and rain set in.
  11. This valley location usually sucks for snowfall, but the cold yesterday kept some snowcover. I think it will make it through the thaw.
  12. Looks like it's down to the snow/sleet layer here. About 1-3" of coverage remaining.
  13. It was below 40F here yesterday until 4pm. Overnight has been around 48F.
  14. NWS cut snow accumulation here in Enfield to 1-4" from 2-5".
  15. 48F and overcast, no rain since midnight. Full snowcover.
