Invading Kiev might prove costly if it comes down to street fighting. The Soviets had a bloody time taking Berlin In April of 1945. Not just fighting house to house, but floor by floor and even room by room. I'm not saying that will happen.

1.25" of rain here earlier this week. The sun angle is going to melt alot of the upcoming snow over the next week.

I guess, but the forecast here was mostly cloudy. Normal high temperature here is 41F, so pretty cold.

I worked for a company based in Taiwan and visited the country twice. No doubt that China could successfully invade, but lots of Chinese soldiers would die trying. It's not easy to invade an island.

I'm very concerned about the fighting going on in the Chernobyl region. Lots of radioactive material is stored there as well as a dome over the reactor. Leaking material could further poison that area and potentially spread.

My oil company came down from 3.89 to 3.52. Still spent close to $1,000 heating the downstairs for nobody living there. Have the heat on 60F, afraid to go lower. The house is poorly insulated and I don't want frozen pipes.

So what I saw today is 250,000 active Ukrainian soldiers, 36,000 reserve to fight the Russians.

If this really gets out of control, Poland is going to have a refugee crisis.
