    i rather live in a desert area away from the water at least dew points will be a lot cooler then the city even if the temps are over 110..

    it looked like a fall day when i went outside this morning there were leaves down everywhere something you do not expect in mid july..

    give me rains dewpoints and temps in low 70;s i will take that over low 90's and high humidity.

    what a difference a day makes it feels so much better today dewpoints so far about 10 degrees lower then yesterday..

    sometimes as a weakening and somewhat disorganized hurricane makes landfall the friction can cause the center to tighten up and align better...

    smoky morning in the city due to all those fireworks that lasted into the wee hours in the morning..,some of these fireworks were so close to my window i fell out of bed and ducked for cover....

    2005 hurricane season was exceptional you had 6 major hurricanes 4 which were cat 5 storms two storms that were sub 900 pressure....

    beryl will be a retired storm because of the intensity it achieved and where it achieved it in june..
