  1. feel real summery today thought those days were over until next spring...
  2. i don't know what people were seeing saying 90's were possible in early october just yesterday on these boards..
  3. that has only happened one time since they been recording temps in nyc since 1869...
  4. only a fool would believe in october we would have 90's in nyc...
  5. checking accuweather long range forecast in october 5-10 i see 60's for highs those days..
  6. not happening its' crazy to even think it could happen...for nyc...
  7. if dorian did no damage would its' name be retired on it's stats alone?
  8. turning out to be the start of a beautful comfy weekend here in nyc
  9. here in manhattan i could see the flashes of lightning from storms so far to the north of the city..
  10. what a nice refreshing cool breeze blowing out this morning in the city...
  11. everyone knows the real air temp in nyc is not from central park... about time the weather people responsible for such records take notice..and do something about it..
  12. well a week is not a brief respite from the summer heat.. that is a eternity
  13. with a breeze out it is like a blast furnace outside in manhattan...
  14. the park use to have higher recorded temps years ago....
  15. other places that got torrential downpours did not affect todays' temps only central park..
  16. the earth could be falling into the sun and central park won't hit 100 degrees...
  17. this outage was a inconvenience nothing more.. even the con ed power outage during superstorm sandy lasted for days...
  18. i remember the 1977 blackout from my building i saw people breaking into shops stealing mopeds the police would come around chase them off but they were overwhelmed...
  19. beautiful warm dry day in the city...might be the last nice day for awhile...
  20. turning about to be a very uncomfortable night in the city a big change from the last 2 nights...
